“Curl BC really appreciates Barkerville Historic Town & Park stepping up as a presenting sponsor of this year’s BC Men’s Curling Championships,” said Curl BC CEO Scott Braley. “It is great to see a neighbouring community support these championships being brought to Quesnel.”

“Barkerville Historic Town & Park is excited to support the Men’s and Women’s provincial curling championships. Winter recreation and sport in Central Interior and Northern communities is critical to individual and family wellness and a significant economic contributor,” said Barkerville Historic Town & Park CEO Ed Coleman. “Barkerville has extensive history back to 1862 as the largest community west of Chicago and north of San Francisco and winter sport and recreation was a major part of Barkerville as a successful community. We honour the extensive history of curling in our nation by supporting this combined event.”

“I’m extremely happy that Barkerville Historic Town & Park has come on board to be a presenting sponsor for this event,” said Quesnel Curling Centre Coordinator Dave Plant. “For our local businesses to step up to the plate like that, it just shows the community support that Quesnel gets to host a major event like this.”
